We’re back and excited to kick off our #FirstServeOthers mission, and we want YOU to be part of it. Whether you’re a dedicated community enthusiast or simply eager to spread kindness, we have an amazing array of Social Purpose activities tailored to your interests.

You don’t have to invest huge chunks of time to make a difference – we’ve curated quick and simple ideas that can be done in just 30 minutes or less. And for an extra splash of summer fun, we’re bringing back Random Acts of Kindness Bingo, updated with fresh new ideas for you! It’s an easy way to add some extra joy to your Summer of Service. Grab our bingo card, tackle as many tasks as you can, and snap a photo or scan and share with us to be entered into a prize drawing for goodies for yourself and a $500 donation to the charity of your choice!

With a FirstService family of 29,000 strong, even one act of service from each of us can create an enormous ripple effect. So let’s dive in! Action Challenges

Five ways to win

To make Summer of Service even sweeter, we’ll be awarding prizes all summer long through a series of Action Challenges. Everyone who completes an Action Challenge will be entered into a random prize drawing to win Summer of Service swag! NEW for 2024: Each month everyone who shares their story with us via our website will be entered into a drawing to win funds for their favorite charity! Each month FirstService will make a $500 donation to that month’s winner’s chosen charity in their name. The winner and charities will also be highlighted in an upcoming issue of our Spotlight newsletter!

Show or tell everyone what acts of service you’re doing this Summer of Service when you post stories, photos or videos through your personal or your Brand’s social media channels using the hashtag: #FirstServeOthers. Upload a screenshot of your post using the SHARE button.

Shout Out button

Give a “Service Shout out” to your colleague(s) who are making positive contributions at work and throughout the community. It can be just a couple sentences of appreciation to call out good acts of service when you see them.

Let the FirstService family know of the good work you’re doing by submitting a brief story, video, or photos of the service in action.

Lois chose Imire Wildlife Conservation in Zimbabwe, where she volunteered this summer. Imire’s mission is to protect endangered wildlife in Africa and support the conservation of all wildlife.
