Employees from nine FirstService companies joined courageous first responders on September 7, 2024, to honor the lives lost on 9/11. Over 100 participants climbed 110 flights at the Sovereign, Atlanta’s tallest residential tower, mirroring the heroic ascent made by first responders on that tragic day.

The event raised crucial funds for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF), which supports the families of fallen heroes.

Participants traveled from as far as Toronto, Arizona, Florida, Tennessee, Washington DC, Maryland, Alabama, and Kentucky to take part in the climb. This marks the seventh year that FirstService Residential has hosted the stair climb, raising over $150,000 for the NFFF to date.

“We’re deeply grateful to the 40+ volunteers who made this event possible, and to the Sovereign residents who cheered on our climbers,” said Danny Ellis, president of FirstService Residential in Georgia and Tennessee. “It was inspiring to have colleagues from across FirstService companies unite for this important cause.”
