CertaPro’s Back to School Supply Drive Makes a Difference for Over 700 Students

Although the back-to-school season holds excitement for lots of  families, it presents challenges for those with limited resources who struggle to adequately prepare their children for a successful school year. This is why the CertaPro team, as part of its Summer of Service initiative, decided to concentrate its efforts on supporting local schoolchildren through the organization of a Back to School Supply Drive. To amplify their impact, they didn’t confine themselves to collecting donations solely at their Audubon, PA office; instead, they created an Amazon Wishlist, enabling individuals from beyond the region to contribute to their noble cause.

CertaPro team members  Christy Kutubi, Greg Shantz, Becky Mulle, and Gregg Kaleck delivered the collected donations to the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, where they were received by Director Veronica Hilghman.

Thanks to the incredible kindness and generosity of the CertaPro team, as well as other residents and businesses in Montgomery County, a total of 143 pre-filled backpacks and over 6,800 individual school supplies were donated. The donations were distributed to the homes of families in need, ensuring that children are equipped for the upcoming school year. In the end, the efforts of the community impacted more than 700 students, making a meaningful contribution to their education.
