2025 Summer of Service: Making a Difference Together

As the warm days of summer approach, we are thrilled to kick off another season of our popular Summer of Service program. This year, we are more committed than ever to making a positive impact in our communities and fostering a spirit of volunteerism among our team members.

Summer of Service offers something for everyone, with opportunities designed to cater to diverse interests and skills. From environmental conservation projects to supporting local food banks, there is a way for all of us to get involved. Our goal is to not only provide much-needed assistance to those in need but also to create lasting memories and strengthen the bonds within our team.

We encourage all team members to participate and make the most of this opportunity to give back. Whether you have a few hours to spare or can commit to a longer-term project, your contribution will make a significant difference. Let’s come together to make this summer one of service, compassion, and community spirit.

To make Summer of Service even sweeter, we’ll be awarding prizes all summer long through a series of Action Challenges. Everyone who completes an Action Challenge will be entered into a random prize drawing to win Summer of Service swag! Each month, everyone who shares their story with us via our website will be entered into a drawing to win a $500 donation to their favorite charity! The winner and charities will also be highlighted in an upcoming issue of our Spotlight newsletter!

Five ways to win

Use your VolunteerHub account to view and participate in the #FirstServeOthers activities and events that matter to you.

Show or tell everyone what acts of service you’re doing this Summer of Service when you post stories, photos or videos through your personal or your Brand’s social media channels using the hashtag: #FirstServeOthers. Upload a screenshot of your post using the SHARE button.

Give a “Service Shout out” to your colleague(s) who are making positive contributions at work and throughout the community. It can be just a couple sentences of appreciation to call out good acts of service when you see them.

Let the FirstService family know of the good work you’re doing by submitting a brief story, video, or photos of the service in action.

Play Random Acts of Kindness Bingo! Complete as many tasks as you wish, and feel free to fill in your own ideas. Scan or take a pic of your card and upload it here!
