We decided as a team/CCO for California Closets to bring by some donations to our local animal shelter (Fairfax County Animal Shelter). Upon gathering items, we realized that we could help with some of their storage solutions as well! We set up a consultation, designed for a couple of spaces and they picked one that would help them best. We had a great time that day meeting staff, volunteers and animal friends!
A representative from the shelter shared, “We can’t thank you enough for your generosity. The cabinet is beautiful and will go a long way to helping us organize and keep the shelter looking lovely for the people and animals.”

Summer is now finally here in #sandiego and it was a beautiful day to give back to our community plus our dogs helped as well. To my peers at First Onsite Property Restoration, I invite you to join Team RISE Our Planet and discover more ways to participate in our Summer of Service. ☀️ #dobeautifulthings #greatamericancleanup #firstserveothers

I wanted to share some amazing news with all of you. Last Friday, a group of our Dania and South associates came together to kick off this Summer of Service by volunteering at Feeding South Florida. It was an incredible experience!
Our team put in their time and effort to sort through a staggering 15,400 pounds of food. This remarkable effort translated into 13,000 meals that will now reach the members of our community who need them the most. Just think about the impact we made in a single day!
I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you who participated in this event. Your commitment and generosity have truly made a difference in the lives of others.

One person cannot change the world but if we all chip in just a little bit and make it part of our being, we can make a huge impact! While Summer of Service is an amazing idea and I have used it to create engagement and bonds within my team, I am hopeful that some if not many will love the idea and make it something they do on a regular basis and without giving it a thought! Giving back and appreciating the world we live in and the people around us creates a sense of purpose and creates life long bonds. It doesn’t cost me anything but making a difference for someone else fills me up love and appreciation.
