Planned Companies continues to focus on health and wellness and recently held their 4th annual free Biometric Health Screenings event in partnership with QuestDiagnostics.
All employees were eligible to participate, regardless of whether they are covered under the company’s health insurance plan.
“Our mission is to help them identify any potential health conditions that might otherwise go unnoticed and empower them to take preventive care,” said Lisseth Montecinos, Senior Specialist, Benefits & Wellness.
Biometric screening is important because it helps assess an individual’s health by measuring key physical indicators such as those listed above. These screenings can detect early signs of health issues like heart disease, diabetes, and other conditions, enabling early intervention and treatment. Additionally, biometric screenings can promote a culture of wellness, encouraging individuals to take proactive steps toward improving their health and reducing healthcare costs over time. They also provide valuable data for personalized wellness programs.
