Planned Companies: Red Wiggler Community Farm Day – August 24
Do you enjoy gardening? Do you love the outdoors? If you are in the Germantown, MD area, you will want to check out Planned Company’s Red Wiggler Community Farm Day. The group will be performing a variety of tasks including seeding, watering, washing produce, preparing soil and trays and general farm clean up. These efforts will help Red Wiggler’s mission to supply local food banks with fresh, healthy produce for area families.

Climb the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center to benefit the FDNY CSU, help defray the cost of sending FDNY family members to Memorial Weekend and help fund the programs provided by the NFFF to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefighters.

Planned Companies Raptor Trust Bird Rehabilitation & Education Center – September 13
Calling all bird lovers! Planned Companies has planned an amazing day at the Raptor Trust Bird Rehabilitation and Education Center, home to 50 resident birds, an on-site medical and rehab center and an education center. This is a roll up-your-sleeves activity and you will be tasked with activities such as repainting barns, weeding, and anything else that needs to be done. Space is limited so register soon! The Raptor Trust is located at 1390 White Bridge Rd., Basking Ridge, NJ.
First Onsite Team R.I.S.E Bags, Batteries & Bottles Recycling Event – through September 15
The First Onsite Our Planet pillar of Team RISE is challenging offices throughout First Onsite to recycle: Bags, Batteries and Bottles. Even if you don’t work at First Onsite, you can implement a similar program in your own office!
